Smith Dray Line is proud to introduce the CityPointe relocation package. This is the first industry program designed specifically for that relocating employee that does not fall under any formal existing company relocation package other than a lump sum distribution. This type of relocation is becoming known as the Employee Managed Relocation, or EMR. The EMR can be stressful for all those involved. United Van Lines has designed a program to ensure that all relocations receive the same level of support and the consistent service offered by America’s leading corporate mover.
Under the CityPointe program, your employee can get new community information; access a national network of Real Estate agents, temporary housing and relocation specific lenders. Utilizing CityPointe’s network of realtors, your employee can receive the highest level of service in selling their old home and finding a new one. They can also receive cash reimbursements equivalent to approximately $5 for every $1000 of home value on both origin and destination sides of the move.

Utilizing United’s CityPointe program, your relocating employee can significantly reduce their out of pocket expense while at the same time, experiencing a much smoother relocation process. If you currently have an existing transportation agreement with United Van Lines, you can easily enable lump sum transferees to secure the same pricing and terms contained in the transportation agreement! In addition, Primacy Relocation, United’s relocation partner, will assist you in developing or expanding on your lump sum relocation program for a nominal fee.
