We at Smith Dray Line are committed to providing our customers the best relocation services possible. In order to accomplish this commitment, we have instituted a Quality Training Program for our Packers, Loaders, and Van Operators. Successful completion of this program is a prerequisite for employment by Smith Dray Line.

The purpose of this program is to certify all personnel in the various aspects of packing and loading household goods in such a manner that is realistic and measurable. This is achieved through classroom training and on-the-job instruction and certification.

Classroom training is conducted in Greenville, SC, and lasts for 4 days. This training includes video instruction and demonstration; structured discussion; written and oral exercises; quizzes; and hands-on training.

Upon completion of the classroom portion of this program, each individual is given a "passbook" which contains particular tasks and requirements on which they are graded and assessed. This begins their on-the-job training. Each individual's progress is assessed and each task is checked off by a certified "coach" once proficiency is demonstrated.
