Hi, I'm Sarah Gurley! I grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina where I developed a love of animals and the outdoors. I attended Blanton's Business College and Mars Hill College.

My sales career started with residential real estate sales in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1979 where I was named "Rookie of the Year." I have been associated with United Van Lines for over twenty years, beginning with Nilson Van and Storage in 1983. I was co-owner of Miller Moving Systems for 2 years, which gave me a wealth of experience in all industry aspects. I can even drive a forklift and moving van!

Smith Dray Line, a Mayflower agent for many years, became a stock-holding agent of United Van Lines in 1991. This was very exciting for me because I had always admired their operation. In March of 1992 I had the opportunity and privilege to join the Smith Dray Line team. I have earned the "Salesperson of the Year" award in 1995 and 1998 and "Sales Excellence" awards in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1999 and the coveted ãTop Bookerä achievement award in 1998, 1999 and 2002.

I live in Anderson County where I'm a member of Williamston Presbyterian Church and Yellow Jessamine Garden Club.   I am the proud Mother of three adult sons:  Travis, Luke & Sam and doting grandmother of Santana and Sebastian.

Never one to sit idle, I enjoy doing needlework, gardening, reading and weightlifting. I am also devoted to my animal family; a dog named Sir Bark-A-Lot and J.C. the cat.   My ambition is to add a miniature donkey and one large pig to the collection!
